Filmpremier Stillness in Motion-Conversations on Maria Bartuszová

Twenty-six years after her death in 1996, the Czechoslovak artist maria Bartuszová is finally gaining a wider international audience.

Her work appeared at documenta 12 in Kassel in 2007 and at the 2022 Venice Biennale, but in 2022 the true significance of her artistic legacy was celebrated in a solo exhibition of her work held at the Tate Modern in London.

With Cecilia Alemani, Maria Chapman, Lucia G. Stach, Pavel Karous, Agata Jakubowska, Joanna Mytkowska, Ruth Noack, Bojana Pejic, Ivona Raimanová, Kasia Redzisz, Ka Te balzoná, Boris Vaitovic, Silvia Van Espen and others, the conversations contrasting the expressive tranquillity of Bartuszová´s works with the dynamism of the dialogues wich they inspire beyond the art world.
